NBSE grade sheets are now available on the DigiLocker app

Kohima, Feb. 17 (EMN): In a new initiative of its kind, Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) students can now access their grade sheets from the digital platform – DigiLocker App.

Class 10 and 12 grade sheets for the years 2019 and 2020 have been made available on the platform for students by registering, checking and picking up the institution document.

Announcing the same about the development of a Twitter micro-blogging site, DigiLocker tweeted on Thursday, “Good news for students of Nagaland Board of School Education! Get your 10th and 12th grade sheet for the year 2019 and 2020 via #DigiLocker. Install the DigiLocker app to access your important documents and certificates.

This app is available for both Android users on Google Playstore and iOS users on App Store.

It can be mentioned that DigiLocker is a flagship program of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) under Digital India, which is a platform for issuing and verifying documents and certificates. The program aims at “digital empowerment” by providing access to authentic digital documents to the citizen’s digital document portfolio.

Documents issued in the DigiLocker system are deemed to be at the same level as the original physical documents in accordance with Rule 9A of the Information Technology Rules (Preservation and Retention of Information by Intermediaries Providing Digital Locker Facilities), 2016 notified on February 8, 2017 under GSR 711. (E).

According to national statistics on DigiLocker, there are 92.28 million users, 4.86 billion documents issued with 1727 issuers and 351 applicants.
