Man Shares Amazing ‘Underrated Websites’ Few Know About

Tech blogger Timoté Chanut has shared some “underrated” and pretty cool websites we should know about – but often don’t. Watch below:

Chanut went viral after sharing the video with his 2.3 million TikTok followers and people can’t believe they haven’t heard of some of these sites before.

First, by searching “synthesia.io” in Google, you can generate your own AI videos.

If you type a script in the text box, the website will automatically generate a video of the avatar, which will then say whatever you want, in any language.

Then he explains, “If you search for ‘2050.earth’, you can see forecasts for different cities.”

Timoté then chooses New York as his option and a generated image of what the city might look like in 28 years appears. Pretty cool, but rather subjective if we’re being honest.

Something I feel like I should be aware of, but have never tried is “3D Driving Simulator” on Google Maps.

You can basically drive a car within Google Maps by just clicking on your keyboard.

This can be useful for explaining to someone the exact turn to take to give directions. Or just to play around with.

Then the blogger suggests: “If you search for ‘leolabs.space’, you can track all orbiting satellites.

“Look how fast they move.

“Some of them travel entire countries in, like, five seconds.”

One that will be particularly useful for movie buffs is searching for “playphrase.me”, where you can type in a phrase and they will find the exact scene from the movie.

Perhaps the most useful tool of all is something many of us do on a regular basis – online shopping.

Specifically, by searching “amazon.com/outlet” you can find all of Amazon’s “overstocked” items for amazing discounts, “usually between 20-50%” which is crazy.

One user commented, “Underrated websites by an underrated person is amazing.”

Another wrote: “Sounds amazing! Definitely trying some of these!”

A third added: ‘This Google driving looks fun.’
