Excel is one of the UK’s top esports content creators, with 18 players competing and four content creators. The team focuses on games like fortnite, Fifa, League of Legends, and VALORATING. Now the team has announced that they will be hiring a new content creator who goes by the name REZHEXX.
Announced via Twitter and a blog post, the 14-year-old Fortnite The content creator will now make videos and broadcast under the banner of Excel. The British team decided to recruit REZHEXX after seeing him defeat the professional Fortnite Wolfiez at a tournament in April.
Excel Fortnite Coach, Freeman Williams, was quick to praise the new addition, saying the team “were super impressed” with his talent.
Williams also said that Excel and other organizations “should invest in young content creators because [the teams] need to develop the basic levels of esports.
If the esports industry is to continue to grow, it will need young players to train and perform in front of the world. While REZHEXX is only 14 years old, it could very well be the future of Excel Fortnite contents.
In the blog post on Excel’s website, the creator’s team started developing content during the pandemic on his phone before streaming Fortnite on Twitch, which is becoming more popular day by day.
