ABOUT THE ROLE:

Do you plan your weekend around where to eat? Is using good grammar your love language? Did you spend the lock browsing food content that stops scrolling? We’re looking for someone obsessed with content, who lives for travel and meals.

In a full-time role, with a flexible work environment, you’ll work on some of Victoria’s most exciting locations, create new campaigns, host parties and collaborate with all kinds of great designers and brands. We are a young and dynamic team, proud to do things differently, and we are no exception when it comes to our approach to marketing, communication and content.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As an integral member of the Marketing team, you will;

  • Orchestrate strong content strategies across all online and offline platforms with ongoing input and alignment to the overall marketing and communications plan for each property
  • Design and implement creative marketing strategies to deliver content
  • Highlight the impact of content on revenue, tracking and documenting content performance and analyzing data to improve future content plans
  • Effectively brief and manage content specialists, photographers, graphic designers and internal team members to create and review all content and ensure a consistent visual and message, and ensure results are delivered on time and within budget
  • Guide content marketing strategy, facilitate ongoing content planning, manage day-to-day content creation, editing and promotion, and report on the results of each content marketing initiative
  • Plan and execute paid and owned media through a comprehensive content strategy (including SEO)
  • Assist in marketing automation, landing pages, website, blog and EDM with top-notch content and design, ensuring a strong web presence
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality and tone of voice and optimized for search and social promotion
  • Work with the Marketing and Communications Specialist to develop clear, consistent and effective communications materials for use across a range of traditional and online channels
  • In collaboration with the marketing team, develop and provide feedback on the annual strategic planning, budget process and related activities
  • Regularly visit/experience offerings and communicate with operations to ensure corporate image/brand is maintained at a high level
  • Maintain close liaison with all departments on activities and seek guidance as needed

OUR IDEAL SPECIALIST IN MARKETING AND COMMS:

  • 3 to 5 years of social/marketing/content experience, internally or in an agency
  • Advanced degrees in communications, marketing, public relations or a related field
  • Experience with online community building
  • Proficiency in social media analytics
  • Mastery of Google Analytics
  • Attention to detail and ability to write effectively for different audiences
  • Ability to apply creative and innovative thinking to achieve results
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams across the business
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and persuade
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and relate to people from a variety of backgrounds i.e. staff, suppliers and customers
  • A team player who can also create and work independently
